This is excellent. I love the switches you have in Jack's personality between light-hearted messing about when they're plotting to deal with Linton to the darkness of his attitude towards Turner. And the way Martha understands him so well, and works to maintain a balance.

The references to her experiences during the YTNW are moving.

And the ending is a Cliffhanger of Doom (TM)!!
