Orignal fic: my first entry for drabble_las

So I joined drabble_las, my first time in in a Last Author Standing competition.  The prompt was "I'm not bad.  I'm just drawn that way.".  We had the option of doing a fandom-based drabble (any fandom) or an original fiction drabble.  I chose original fiction, because I wasn't quite sure how to apply that prompt to any of my fandoms.  There were 6 drabbles in the Original Fiction category.  I didn't win, and didn't expect to.  I got 10 votes for, which was pleasing, and 4 votes against, which was confusing.  I await copies of the feedback to find out what people gave as their reasons for their votes.  My drabble is below under the cut.  If you want to see the other entries, they're here.
