That whole first scene, from the Doctor's point of view, really resonated for me. But this sentence in particular stuck out, somehow. I also loved his description of the TARDIS at the end, as both refuge and prison. With all his usual barriers down--even the ones he uses to hide things from himself--it was an interesting look into the Doctor's thought process.
