"Dunno.  Foolish human custom."

 

"He's your partner, too.  Or-- Morning, Jack!"

 

"Morning, beautiful.  Doctor, need any help?"

 

"Nah.  We're materialisin' on Alzori.  Agri-colony."

"Blimey!  Never saw a farm with chandeliers."

 

"This is the Topkapi Resort!  The most luxurious--"

 

"Oi!  Doctor, party of three?"

 

"Yes, Effendi. The Sultan Suite awaits."

"Stop gawpin', Captain.  Rose has sentimental notions about birthdays."

 

"I didn't bring fancy clothes."

 

"We won't need any.  Private suite.  Bath's in the walled garden.  Nice view of moonset."

 

"Doctor, Rose -- I think I'll find other heavenly bodies to admire..."

He likes to pretend he's not a sweetie, but he is. Lovely! All-dialogue fics are hard to pull off, especially with more than two people. You made everyone's voices so distinctive it was no problem to follow along. Well done!

Thank you. I'm glad it worked. Dialogue is a bit easier with these characters than some others because they have such distinctive voices, and use language differently.
