A/N: This is my first (completed) fanvid.  I did it for the July challenge at Winter Companions.  Now that the challenge is over, I can post it here.  The song is from John Barrowman's newest album, and I think it perfectly describes Jack's feelings about the Doctor.  Even if that isn't your 'Ship, it's worth listening to just to enjoy a beautiful song and JB's amazing voice.

beautiful song and gorgeous video

for me that song can be equally applied to Jack/Ianto - I'm not good at videos, I did a little song fic and yeah, I can see how this works for the Doctor and Jack

I can see that. In fact, when I did a test search on Google Videos to make sure my vid was public, I came across two other fanvids that used that song. One was Jack/Ianto. The other was Doctor/Jack, which was an annoying discovery, but (she said modestly) I think mine is better.

I didn't watch the J/I vid, as I don't 'ship that pairing. I like both characters, I read and enjoy fic about them, I accept their relationship as canon, but it isn't a focus for me as it is for other people... like you! And that's okay. :-)

I have this sudden vision for an icon: a picture of our beloved omnisexual Captain looking very sad, and the caption: "Shipping wars make Jack Harkness cry".

Can't have Jack crying! and I can see the attraction of Jack/Doctor but it's not where my heart lies

I don't 'ship' doctor/jack but for some reason in the absence of Rose I kind of think it would be good for jack and the doctor to be together whether it be in a romantic situation or not. This was a lovely vid and the song beautiful

Thank you! I'd never heard this song before I bought JB's album, but it is very moving and beautifully performed.
